I proudly served as a United States Marine, where I held the rank of Gunnery Sergeant. During my time in the military, I was deployed to Kosovo and Fallujah, experiencing firsthand the challenges and responsibilities associated with maintaining security in complex and high-pressure environments. These experiences have shaped my dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of those I serve.
Law Enforcement Experience:
For over 23 years, I have dedicated my career to law enforcement, working in various capacities within the Texas police force. My journey began as a patrol officer, where I honed my skills in maintaining public order and responding to emergencies promptly. Throughout my career, I have undertaken diverse roles, each contributing to my comprehensive understanding of Texas law enforcement.
Detective Work:
I have gained valuable experience as an organized crime detective, handling complex cases involving criminal networks and coordinating with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the apprehension of dangerous individuals. Additionally, I have worked extensively in the areas of homicide and crimes against persons, crimes against children, property crimes, highway criminal interdiction, and narcotics. This breadth of experience equips me with the necessary skills to address a wide range of law enforcement challenges effectively.
Specialized Training:
My dedication to professional growth and excellence has led me to pursue various specialized roles within law enforcement. I have served as a former K-9 handler, harnessing the power of canine companions to aid in investigations and enhance community safety. As a police instructor, I have shared my knowledge and expertise with fellow officers, contributing to the development of a skilled and competent force. Furthermore, my experience as a field training officer and hostage negotiator demonstrates my ability to train and mentor others while managing high-stakes situations with tact and diplomacy. I have also contributed to the development of future law enforcement professionals by teaching students in the jailer academy, preparing them for their vital roles in maintaining secure detention facilities.

Responsible for enforcing facility rules, conducting security checks, and intervening in any potential security breaches or disturbances.

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the jail, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Develop and implement administrative policies, protocols, and guidelines for staff and inmate management.

• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate jail staff, including corrections officers and administrative personnel.
